This will be an unforgettable night to help cut through the January blues.
Starting with the Blue Almond Project who perform music by Brickwork Lizards’ cellist Lou Lyne. Lou’s music comes from the heart, often bringing listeners to tears through wordless reflections on love, loss, longing, and intoxication.
Next up is Larkspur with Giles Lewin on violin and Melissa Holding on accordion. They play their own beautiful arrangements of music from various beloved folk traditions from the British Isles to Sweden to Bulgaria. It's a heart warming and magical thing to see and hear them play together.
Closing the night will be the Brickwork Lizards, playing a unique blend of Arabic music and pre-war swing, with many other surprises to keep you on your toes. As the Oxford Times noted, they are "One of the most creative and eclectic bands the city has ever produced”.
Doors open at 7pm, music from 7.30pm.
