Event information
COWBIRD are a troupe of musicians from across the sonic universe of Sheffield who play an earthy mix of dusty blues, harmony folk, old gospel and deep soul. Expect dancing bass, birdsong clarinet, dobro guitar and vocal harmonies: lots of songs you'll know from across the musical anthology of grass roots Americana and some COWBIRD originals too. Featuring Al Gordon on double bass, Laura Hegarty on clarinet, Lapwing's Jack Avery on dobro guitar, Rob Nutt on percussion and Heather Morgan on guitar, with vocals from all five.
