Inspired by the cliffs and shoreline of her childhood she weaves the natural world into her music with a timeless and moving grace.
Having made her home at Spiritual Records where she released her debut EP, Prose and Poetry, she now shares her songs around London and beyond. Sophie is currently looking ahead to the independent release of her next single.
Born in Ukraine and living in South East London, Maria Mihailik is a young singer-songwriter. Inspired by an eclectic mix of songwriters, like Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Fiona Apple and Amy Winehouse, she blends folk styles and contemporary themes in a confessional, intimate way.
