The Arches Presents: Kinara, Lonan and Lillian

The Arches Social are delighted to present another eclectic evening of alternative folk music.

Performing will be:

Kinaara:

Kinaara are a trio emerging from the cross genre scene in Leeds. Their sound begins with songs of the Punjab and folk from the British Isles infused with Indian classical music motifs and melodies filtered through a jazzy indie folk mixer. A blending of cultures and musical styles.

Lonan:

Yorkshire-based folk trio Lonan weave together compelling narrative tales and driving instrumental tunes. Often drawing upon contemporary issues as well as traditional song, the band explored the eclectic musical palettes of Evan Davies, Katy Ryder and Robin Timmis.

Lilian:

Lilian is a singer/storyteller of traditional folk song and fairytales, drawing inspiration from both real world issues and supernatural encounters to create a sound that is dark, ethereal, and haunting.

Bar open from 6pm til 2am. Doors 7pm.
