THE BFG (1989) - This animated adaptation of the classic Roald Dahl story tells of a lonely young girl and her unlikely friendship with the Big Friendly Giant (the BFG). Early one morning, Sophie catches a glimpse of the BFG in the street outside her orphanage. Afraid she will tell everyone about his existence, the BFG whisks Sophie off to giant country and introduces her to Snozzcumbers, Frobscottle and the terrifying giants that live nearby.
