Queen Horizon – 5 piece indie rock band from Kent. 2 gals, 3 geezers. Sassy stuff. Expect uplifting, in your face, vocals and big guitars. Think Veruca Salt mixed with Roxette or maybe Hole mixed with Fuzzbox..

Dainoni – Another alluring female fronted melodic alt rock band, this time from S Wales. A sugar rush of pop charm accompanies each anthemic hard rocking pearl. Nicely done.

The Sick Fix – suitably rancorous garage rock from a young band who take their cues from all the groovy old stuff. You might even get a Sonics cover… and the singer could easily pass for Mark E Smith circa 1978!

Soundcheck In The Alley – 3 piece indie/alternative rock band based in Buckinghamshire. Nicely overdriven, sonic saturation, that puts you in mind of early Verve with a hint of My Bloody Valentine– certainly some shoegaze/nugaze elements here.

Arrive early (7.25) for West London band Lonesome Boy started as a solo project. Lonesome Boy has now recruited a band to create a new sonic landscape with Dave on guitar and Jonas on drums. Influenced by early Bowie, Roxy Music and the explosion that was punk Lonesome Boy explore themes of love, love lost and a humorous perspective on getting old, in quirky 2.30-minute soundbites.
