Event information

Emerging from the individual minds and talents of four established musicians is WLDFLWRS, as near to a perfect ‘supergroup’ as you will find.

The debut single is Best Company and the music video is here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1KgTdQkxno

WLDFLWRS, from the UK’s Midlands, are Jack Blackman (guitar, vocals), Wes Finch (bass, vocals), Chris Quirk (drums vocals) and Jono Wright (guitar, vocals).

The band’s debut eponymous 7 track EP is steeped in Americana music, despite being recorded in rural Warwickshire. Sun-drenched 70s Laurel Canyon harmonies mixed with alt. country stylings, via the AOR influence of Tom Petty. This EP celebrates a well-honed new group who, while respectfully acknowledging the direction of their forebears, are firmly offering their own distinctive and compelling new sound. It is available on all streaming platforms and on limited edition green vinyl.

The band has played a number of gigs already, including recreations of The Band's legendary Last Waltz concert in Halifax, Birmingham Town Hall and London's Troubadour, featuring a number of their musical friends including PP Arnold, Chris Helme (The Seahorses) and Nigel Clark (Dodgy).

The gig at Wadsworth will be with WLDFLWRS band playing two 45 minute sets with band members playing a solo support set to open the evening.
