Best Band – experimental but rooted in songcraft, BB combine the pastoral, Anglo psych of Syd Barrett, the post punk pulsating syncopation of Flying Lizards and the sweetly shambling indie pop of TV Personalities, as heard on super new long player ‘Life As A Baby’… Seven Pound Halo – youthful alt-rock four-piece who “cut through the noise” (Radio Carrum) and are making waves in Australia’s vibrant music scene by, in their own words: “playing like there’s no tomorrow, making epic songs that stick in your head for days”. 2025 sees the release of their sophomore ‘Find A Way’ E.P. after a run of raucous DIY gigs in the band’s home city of Melbourne, and their first national tour, which even followed in Rick & Morty’s footsteps to deepest, darkest Bendigo, Victoria. DJ Tony Bugbear Presents We Got Killers – it’s full on Xmas Party season so there might even be the odd sleigh bells adorned hanger amongst the usual matchless blend of indie, punk, rock n roll, soul, disco, rave and hip hop.
