Anglo - French folksters Topette!! are excited to play in Scotland for the first time, on their 2026 UK Tour. The band play exciting acoustic dance music, perfect for French (balfolk) dancing, but equally good for listeners.

As part of Edinburgh Contra Dance's 10th anniversary weekend, you can try out your "balfolk" steps before the Topette!! gig. Between 6 and 7pm Greg Dyke will give a workshop with live music, to brush up your schottische, chapelloise, bourrées (both types) and mazurkas. It's very relaxed, informal and great fun to learn.

Topette!! will be celebrating the release of their fifth album, Tazon, and playing a varied set from across their 12 year history...
