We often sink into the assumption that peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians is constantly receding into the future. No Other Land reminds us: not necessarily... Made by a Palestinian-Israeli collective, the film shows the destruction of settlements on the West Bank by Israeli soldiers and the alliance which develops between a Palestinian activist and an Israeli journalist.

"The film is not a document of solutions, but it does position itself as a step in the movement toward a future where Palestinians are just as free as Israelis." Hollywood Reporter.
Our screening is followed by pre-recorded interviews, exclusively for DOCS+, with two people who, in their different ways, represent cross-community connections of which we hear so little in mainstream news.
NOA LANDAU is global editor for Haaretz English language edition, a prominent and well-respected daily newspaper headquartered in Tel Aviv and the oldest newspaper in Israel (founded 1919). It is one of the few Israeli news outlets to openly question the Israeli government and actively supports Palestinian human rights.
MICHAL SALVA is an ex-Israeli campaigner who moved from Tel Aviv to Berlin, her lived experience of Israel and the West Bank renders her a powerful voice in this complex debate.
We’re exceptionally fortunate to have secured these exclusive interviews with two people whose views are less confrontational than those we usually hear.
“Offers a stirring vision for what could be.” The Guardian.
