The Pioneer Club are excited to be working with local musical legend The Kevolution on a night of punky reggae shenanigans!
Saturday 7th February sees The Kevolution bring several bands to Pioneer, some for the first time, and with Grae Wall playing a dub/reggae set in the Suet Yard as well it promises to be a great night.
Headliners The Trash are the ONLY Clash tribute band that matters. They will be bringing the spirit and vibe of Joe Strummer and the rest of the band to Pioneer along with a stacked line-up.
First up are local punk outfit Ramona Marx. Ramona Marx are a 4 piece post-punk band hailing from Hemel Hempstead. Formed in 2019 Ramona Marx hope to carve the new path in the underground music scene nurturing chaos on and off the stage. The band draws influence from artists such as Slaves, The Clash, and Shame which feeds into a unique sound.
Next up are The SGs. For the past few years, 9 piece band The SGs have been delivering a rich mix of danceable and uplifting reggae to a range of events and a variety of appreciative crowds. Roots reggae stylings, with a sprinkling of ska and rocksteady and an infusion of lovers rock – top-drawer musicianship alongside a combination of melodic rhythms, heartfelt lyrics and powerful vocals - that’s the flavour of an SGs set delivered every time with love and infectious enthusiasm – Rise Up!
With The Trash rounding out the night covering all the Clash tracks that matter you know it's going to be a great night!
