Cardiff based duo Dafne define themselves as folk music through the lens of post punk, taking queues from the likes of Kate Bush and John Martyn. With a musical language developed through working and living together as well as coloured by the time they’ve spent living here in Cardiff, their nostalgic sound is gentle and unique, defined by lush vocals and conversational guitars.

Written and recorded within 8 weeks, their self-entitled album is the culmination of both Elijah Jeffery & Eddie Gripper's fruitful working relationship and individual passion for songwriting. With seven original songs and one never-before heard adaptation of a 17th century Aria, Elijah & Eddie offer up an “eagerly awaited” (The Jazz Mann) collaboration straddling the genres of progressive pop, indie folk and alternative jazz.
