We start the year with an act that is new to our club. Between them the four musicians have performed at most of the UK’s leading Folk and Jazz festivals, played with pop acts including Muse and One Direction, appeared on TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and in numerous stage shows on the West End and around the UK. Counter’s Creek is an acoustic folk band who play original music inspired by the folk music of the British Isles and beyond. With the combination of tightly arranged, intricate music and improvisational flair and daring, their soulful singing and energetic jigs and reels appeal to music-lovers of all genres.
They are supported by Malcolm Macwatt, who is a major talent in his own right.
