Acclaimed singer-songwriter Anna Howie is set to captivate audiences at Cleeve Village Hall as part of her UK tour, showcasing tracks from her new album Good For Roses.
Blending Americana, folk and country influences, London born Howie has built a reputation for heartfelt storytelling and exquisite musicianship. Her latest album delves into the themes of love, resilience and self discovery, earning praise for it's lyrical depth and authentic sound.
Anna's first EP, An Idiots Guide To Love was recorded in Nashville and went in at number 5 in the UK Country Charts. Her follow up album, The Friday Night Club was named after a lifestream she started from her front room during Lockdown which ran for 25 consecutive weeks, every Friday and went on to have 2 million views on Facebook. Anna has done live Radio 2 sessions with Brian May and has supported Gabrielle and Scouting For Girls.
Good For Roses follows the success of Howie's previous releases, it was recorded at Peter Gabriel's studios in Bath and solidifies her status as one of the UK's most exciting independant artists.
On June 12th Anna will be joined by her brilliant band of musicians: Andy Evans on guitar, Roger Nunn on drums and percussion and John Brooker on bass.
Anna Howie's live performances are known for their warmth, humour and emotional depth, making this an unmissable event for music lovers in Cleeve.
