Mark Wyman has played piano since age five. In 1988 he moved to San Francisco, California, to continue his musical studies, graduating from San Francisco State University (Summa cum laude), and then Mills College (Dean's List) with a Masters in Piano Performance and Literature. Mark has a very broad musical experience, from classical to punk, from pop to avant-garde, playing anything with keys or knobs, piano, organ, accordion, and many synths. He has performed solo, and with many different groups across the entire musical spectrum, touring around the US, and all over Europe.
Tango has been his special interest for more than 25 years. While based in San Francisco, Mark played with several tango groups: Strictly Tango, Tango #9, MonTango, and his own Quartet. A trip to Buenos Aires hearing, studying and playing tango consummated his love for this music. Mark currently lives in Amsterdam, performing, accompanying and teaching. He plays with choirs, musicals, at schools, and with many different groups and individuals.
Mark also publishes The Tango Fake Book via his website https://harmonk.com.
