Picky New Promotions are proud to welcome SUNFLOWERS from Portugal to play at The Lab on Wed Feb 11.

Sunflowers formed in 2014 in Porto, Portugal, a city renowned for its vibrant underground music scene. Created by Carlos de Jesus and Carolina Brandão, the band began as a 60s‑inspired garage rock project before evolving into a fusion of noise rock’s raw intensity and the avant‑garde edge of art punk.

Their live shows take audiences on a sonic journey that swings from psychedelic celebration to razor‑sharp, chaotic energy. Crowds respond with enthusiasm, shouting for more and feeding off the band’s electrifying presence. No one walks away unaffected—Sunflowers’ sonic assault makes indifference impossible. Amid the chaos, there’s catharsis: a liberating sense of losing yourself in something bold, immersive, and unapologetically original.

Supporting are one of our favourite returning Norwich bands, THE MINK, and Northampton's own OSCILLATOR.

Tickets are £10 + fees in advance. Additionally, all ticket holders who are not members of The Lab will be required to pay £1 OTD to support the venue.
