Old Baby Mackerel is a high-energy bluegrass band from the UK, known for their "foot-stomping" performances and traditional Appalachian sound.
Music Style: They use a single-condenser microphone setup, playing lightning-fast rhythms on banjo, mandolin, guitar, fiddle, and double bass with three-part harmonies.
Notable Performances: The group has performed at major festivals including Glastonbury (2019 and 2022), Boomtown, Shambala, and international bluegrass festivals in Switzerland, Austria, and Thailand.
