Event information
Utopia Theatre has been funded by BFI to deliver a curated film festival of African films.
Film fans will be able to book tickets for the New Horizons African Film Festival at the Curzon Cinema in Sheffield.
Tickets include a screening and panel discussion.
Mami Wata - 2023 A black and white fantasy thriller written by C.J. 'Fiery' Obasi, starring Evelyne Ily Juhen, Uzoamaka Anuinoh, Kelechi Udegbe and Emeka Amakeze.
The film is based on West African folklore and is a co-production between Nigeria, France and the UK.
Following the screening of the film there will be a panel discussion.
Tickets are free but if you are able to make a donation, we would be grateful as donations go towards Utopia's community arts projects.
