Picky New Promotions are proud to present Northampton indie rock giants ROLLING THUNDER for an IVW 2026 gig at The Charles Bradlaugh!
Hailing from Northampton, the band formed at school whilst studying the Vietnam War, hence the name. Despite a desire to avoid being pigeonholed by genres, there is no escaping the band's distinct 2000s indie sound. That said, more recent tracks have marked a conscious move in a dance-inspired direction. With no label affiliation, the band have managed to gain a significant following in their hometown and beyond. Inspiration also drawn from 90s Britpop and alternative 80s indie.
Being a group of mates who happen to be a band rather than a collection of musicians, is what gives the band its unique and captivating vibe. Their genuine friendship is what makes their live shows so incredible, with the mixture of sheer excitement, charm and nervous energy creating an electrifying atmosphere that never fails to captivate crowds.
Support from Manchester's SWEET GENE and young Bedfordshire band THE GREENSANDS.
Tickets are £10 plus fees in advance. Doors 7:30 pm.
