A wonderful programme of three contrasting choral works from the late 19th and 20th centuries.
Fauré’s Requiem offers a calm lyrical setting of the mass, alongside the serene Cantique de Jean Racine.
Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms brings a vibrant, modern voice to biblical Hebrew texts, blending expressive melodies with rhythmic energy and moments of joy and reflection.
