Glowing Hearts: a candle painting soirée!

Join Jess on this cosy, creative 2 hour workshop where we turn simple taper candles into hand-painted works of art. Whether you’re looking for a unique date idea, a "Galentine’s" escape, or simply a moment of creative mindfulness, this workshop is designed to spark joy.

The Experience
Nestled in the heart of the forest, Casemates Café is a warm and charming venue: the perfect spot for our crafty evening. There’s parking on site and plenty of drinks and snacks to enjoy. You’ll find a choice of vibrant acrylic paints, delicate brushes and design ideas waiting for you to decorate your own uniquely-painted LED wax candles.

Why LED wax candles?
I have sourced some rather special realistic LED candles, made with real wax in either ivory or white, to give you the best finished look with safety in mind, as you can’t burn acrylic paints. This also means that you can enjoy the authentic glow of your candles without lighting a wick and melting your artwork. A genius idea so that you can enjoy your candles for longer!

Under the soft glow of fairy lights, and a glass of bubbly in hand (included with your ticket), Jess will guide you through painting your candles with some helpful hints, tips and ideas to get your creativity flowing. There will be plenty of examples to inspire you - but allowing your own creative flare to come into play is fully encouraged!

A Touch of Romance
While you’re welcome to paint anything your heart desires - from minimalist and chic to niche and quirky, there will be a subtle nod to the month of love: think blushing hues, sweet motifs, red hearts, dainty bows and pink flowers. Or why not make it seasonal and celebrate the first signs of new life for the spring with soft greens, pure white snowdrops and celestial elements.

• Two premium 11" taper LED wax candles (to paint and take home)
• All painting supplies, brushes and tools
• A glass of Prosecco or soft drink of your choice
• A gift bag and ribbon to wrap your creations.

No prior painting experience is necessary—just a steady(ish!) hand and a love for the little things. Come solo and make some new friends, or bring someone special to share the glow.
Space is limited to ensure a cozy, intimate atmosphere.
