Join us for an unforgettable night in Kentish Town with the high-energy dance-pop duo, Junonuno, and the funky, indie pop collective, Air Circus. After being on hiatus for the past few years, Air Circus are making a comeback by sharing a stage with Junonuno for one night only to debut their new collaborative single, Turn It Out. The song emulates the best of both artist’s talent; Junonuno’s love for 90’s House music and Air Circus’ Jazz intervals, along with some catchy lyricism.
Junonuno:
An other-worldly artistic group built by DJ Juno and Nuno. The (sometimes) Bristol-based duo present catchy, old-school dance songs with a 90’s house-inspired soul and pop-adjacent lyrics. You’ll find DJ Juno on the guitar - he’s also the tech whizz behind those beats - while Nuno is the ethereal voice leading you to boogie land. On stage, they’re joined by Uno (on bass) and Twono (banging the drums), who create the unforgettable atmosphere at a Junonuno gig. You really have to see it to believe it. Fun fact: Junonuno love to do human things like sit in a chair, eat food and play sports. Warning: Do NOT try their moves at home if you live on a planet with gravity.
FFO: Confidence Man, Friendly Fires, Knower
Air Circus:
UK based collective 'Air Circus' was formed in 2019 by multi-instrumentalist Adam Adrian and producer Dan Follant. Combining their diverse musical influences, the pair evolved their sound as they collaborated and performed with artists from a wide range of genres. The collective took the stage to their first festival slot at Readipop 2022 on the main Stage with BBC Introducing. They have since worked closely with BBC Introducing's Alex West, appearing on interviews and song spotlights on the BBC Introducing radio station. Being a big part of the Reading music scene, the collective were asked to be 'Artists in Residence' for BBC Introducing Berkshire for December 2022, playing two headline shows at Reading University and Purple Turtle.
