Event information
Dave O’Higgins’ project Monkin’ Around is a tribute to Thelonious Monk’s music, born out of his 2019 tour with Rob Luft, in which they played every single composition by Monk. The group’s new album, 4 in 1, presents Monk’s themes in multiple settings, exploring both well-known and rarely played Monk compositions. Dave brings his all-star group to Hove, including Sean Fyfe – piano, Chris Coull – trumpet, Luke Fowler – double bass, Billy Pod – drums.
