MUMBLES:
Manchester’s Mumbles are back with an amazing new EP The Mumbles Book of Hell out via Divine Schism, which the band call ‘26 minutes of evil, humiliation, and narcolepsy’
Mumbles’ new EP The Mumbles Book of Hell rampages through the personal and political, finding heartbreak in world crisis and utopia in friendships. Recorded live, these five songs capture the carnage of the group’s famously feral gigs, a savage and yearning map covering everything from bass-clarinet driven doom to fractured slowcore, spasmodic postpunk to hurdy-gurdy ambience. FFO Deerhoof, Squid, Olivier Messiaen, Yo La Tengo, Sunn O))), early music, Claire Rousay, Melt-Banana, Horse Lords etc.
WHITE LILIES:
White Lilies are planting the seeds of expanded consciousness through pulsating drone and shimmering reverb. This psychedelic trio are not to be missed!
LJ O’HAGAN:
Having released his debut book ‘Fast Asleep In Terrapin Soup’ last year, LJ O’Hagan brings his off-kilter poetry and storytelling onto the stage. His oddball, comedic takes on the mundanity of everyday life often lead him down paths that veer closer to sincerity.
NELLIE SWEENEY-JONES:
Welcome to Nellie's haunting theatre. Expect structures that mislead, jazzy undertones, spoken word and warped time. You may feel slightly unsettled upon exiting the theatre…whilst longing to return…
