Event information

Born from one woman’s itch for collecting personal tales and speaking to strangers, RAW is a first-of-its-kind event, and London's first uncensored storytelling & live music night. It’s a tasting menu of London’s culture: vibrant, eclectic and diverse, pairing true stories with live music, art and other creative expressions. RAW is a night of immersive storytelling curated around a theme.

Described as 'one of the best nights in London', RAWs blend culture, connection and cool in some of the city's hottest venues.

The theme for January: Before & After

Audiences at RAW get to experience short, untold stories, undiscovered talent, and the best underground artists before they break into the mainstream. It’s a night of IYKYK vibes, human connection, and creativity.

NOTE: there's a lineup of 8 storytellers at each RAW, which are curated and selected before the event. This is not an open mic.

THE RAW ORIGIN STORY

RAW started life among inner circles word of mouth. An “if you know you know” sorta vibe, before going public. But the backstory of this unique event goes back even further, stemming from WDN founder, Christine's insatiable curiosity and search for relatable, human experiences.

Today, RAWs have come off the streets and away from kitchen tables – and take place monthly in some of the coolest venues across the city, building a patchwork tribe of good humans, doing good things.
