What a delight to welcome the genius of Gripper Lee, as replacement headliners, to MoonPunx at The Bread and Roses, Clapham. No need to come all of the way to the coast, its LONDON!!!
Opening the evening is the amazing, captivating work of Joe Bitter, guitarist from the much beloved Emergency Bitter 🎸His solo project brings together many Emergency Bitter favourites alongside his new songs.
Second up, support is from Brighton based Family of Strangers. With influences like the legendary punk of Penetration, The Damned, The Cramps, UK Subs and Rancid, Family of Strangers deliver a raw and powerful sound that's sure to get you moving. With a diverse range of experience among the members there is a unique blend of energy and authenticity to their music.
Headliner UPDATE; Roaming the dark alleys of the underground scene, veteran post-punk / gothic trio Gripper Lee tool up with sharp-edged lyrical wit and a sawn-off sonic soundscape that’ll take your windows out. Once their hooks get into you, there’s no escape!
