Black Groove have cemented themselves as one of the most visceral sludge bands in the UK after 5 years of relentless shows up and down the UK, sharing stages with Conan, Eyehategod and Bongvilla as well as headline tours and festivals. The live show is vile, cathartic, intense and almost disrespectful to their idols as they infuse walls of noise into monolithic low end riffs. We welcome them on their Edinburgh debut as they tour the UK on their way to play Tonehenge Aberdeen.

We welcome East Anglian Crossover Doomsters Acid Throne as they tour the UK, making their Edinburgh debut on the way to play Tonehenge Aberdeen. With festivals like Bloodstock already confirmed, we look forward to having our ears purged to what Kerrang described as “black metal, hardcore and stoner around a gravitational core of pendulous doom.”.

Edinburgh 3 piece A.V.L craft an abrasive mix of sludge, noise and crust. Harsh vocals perforate riffs that come at you with intent and malice. They are a band that is not settling on one sound that resolves neatly, they drag you by the neck through weighty sludge and post metal into dark and oppressive noise soundscapes. Made up of 3 stalwarts of the Edinburgh scene, they deliver a pointed and visceral performance that stands up against anyone.
