Event information

You may not be familiar with much of Dvořák’s work, although if you are aware of his ‘New World’ symphony (Symphony No. 9 in E minor (From the New World)) you will not be surprised to hear that Cantata are excited to be preparing a work from the same stable. Stabat Mater, a medieval Latin hymn (by Pergolesi) on the suffering of the Virgin Mary at the Crucifixion, is simply stunning, and a very fitting work to perform in the Easter season.
