An evening at the ever charming Chemic Tavern of alternative acoustic music!
Absi is the performing name of Abi Rudd, seasoned Leeds based producer and songwriter. Her songs navigate the harder edges and softer subtleties of life, all built on a grungy folk foundation. Heralding influences from the likes of Madison Cunningham, Andrew Bird, Slow Pulp and Elliot Smith, Absi sits on the borders of thoughtfulness and gritty earthy textures in her musical exploration. This is Absi's first live performance! Joining her on stage are Ellie Lewis on harmonies and cello, Meriel Paget on voice and violin, and Samwise Seidel on electric guitar and voice.
Heart Shaped Logic takes listeners on a journey through sound and emotion, weaving music that is as dynamic as it is heartfelt. Founded upon the songwriting of Samwise Seidel and expanded upon by the lush textures of Ellie Lewis and Robin Timmis on strings and backed by the expressive Alex Chadda on Drums. Expect harmonies and melodies of elegance, introspection and emotional rawness.
