at the Dunton Community Garden

This workshop will give you the confidence and practical experience to maintain your own pip fruit trees (apples, pears, medlar).
We will demonstrate and practice on trees around 10-20 years old.
The session will cover the basic principles of pip fruit trees, safe use of pruning tools and overall health of your trees. Suitable for beginners and those wishing to improve their fruit tree pruning skills.
All tools and safety wear will be provided, but PLEASE BRING STRONG WORKING GLOVES and COME IN STURDY FOOTWEAR.
If you wish to bring your own tools they must be sterilised and sharp.
Bring photos of your own trees for advice at the end.
THIS ACTIVITY IS FOR 18+ ONLY
ARRIVAL TIME : Please arrive between 10:00 and 10:15 for a cup of tea and a prompt start at 10:30.
WORKSHOP START TIME : 10:30
FINISH TIME : 12:30

THE COST OF THIS ACTIVITY IS £10:00
- If you are a CBC RESIDENT THE COST IS DISCOUNTED to £7.50
- If you live outside the area, there is a charge of £10:00
