Tim and Sam's Tim and Sam Band with Tim and Sam
Sporting a name that's of the Dananananakyroyd ilk, Tim and Sam's Tim and The Sam Band with Tim and Sam arrive at Static Caravan with a new 7" filled with instrumental post-folk loveliness. After the building acoustic pseudo-epic 'Summer Solstice (replete with banjos and glockenspiels) the B-side opens with a waltzing, breezy affair titled 'Rolling Hills', but the final track on this three-song EP is a lo-fi instrumental cover of Elbow's 'One Day Like This', aptly rounding off an incredibly optimistic, sunshine dappled single.
Gilbert
Gilbert is a person and a band. The band comprises 5 people playing drums and percussion, bass, organs, violins, horns, singing, and speaking. They perform regularly thoroughout London and also played sets at the 2007 Green Man Festival, 2008 Loop Festival, and 2009 Udderbelly.
Robin Grey
Inspired by the timeless work of Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and Ani Difranco amongst many others, he colours in his songs about love and life with guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, piano, double bass, organ, percussion toys and any other instruments he can afford and fit into his little studio.
