Tales Round The Table At The Nest (children)

Event information

We are excited to be working with the Romney Marsh community project the Nest where we will be hosting a storytelling session where children are invited to being their favourite story from the Marsh to share around the table.
Storytelling is a wonderful way of bringing folk together to keep the stories and important cultural figures alive by passing the history down the line.
Children are encouraged to ask their families about the stories and characters and bring them ti the session to share by the fire.
The session will be run by folklore historian and marsh resident Sandra Elkins and songwriters and musicians Jack Pound and Lorraine Lucas.
Snacks and refreshments are included and the session is free thanks to Arts Council England funding.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and remain under their supervision and responsibility at all times.
