Its my birthday again and this year I thought I would celebrate 65 years on this planet by inviting a few friends along to perform on stage. The Acoustic Bushburys of Buzby, Lucy and Gerry will be
underpinning the show with appearances by Eric Barlow on vocals and guitar , Kerry Worton on Mandolin and Wendy Green on backing vocals. I am also celebrating 50 years of playing the guitar ( you would have thought I 'd mastered it by now !). 50 years ago when I was a youth player at Birmingham City, Alf Ramsey was manager and Trevor Francis was at the club, I decided that music, playing guitar and writing songs held much more attraction. Since then I have built and worked in recording studios, working in every genre of music imaginable, spent 3 year as a street entertainer, 15 years with a touring band and now 26 years running Katie Fitzgeralds with Trina.
Not sure we can do another 26 years but hopefully still a few more to come.
