Outdoor writer, long-distance adventurer and North Cornwall local David Myers recounts his record-breaking run of the South West Coast Path. Battling gale force winds, sleep deprivation, nausea, and a disgruntled seagull, he ran over 50 miles a day, ascending the equivalent of Everest four times. Undertaking the feat to raise money for the Cornwall and Devon Air Ambulances, who rescued his father after suffering a cardiac arrest, his light-hearted account goes through the literal and emotional high and lows of the experience.
