In this engaging and interactive presentation, Rob Hopkins will share some of the central ideas from his latest book ‘How to Fall in Love with the Future’. What might climate activism look like if, instead of focusing on extinction and collapse, it instead focused on the cultivation of longing, on bringing alive in the collective imagination the extraordinary world we could still create.
Rob will share mementoes from his recent scientific trips to 2035, examples of amazing activists around the world taking a more playful approach to time, as well as sharing his own work, such as his ‘Field Recordings from the Future’ project.
Duration: 2 hrs inc audience Q&A and an interval.
High quality food/bar/accommodation available at The Falcon Hotel.
Take your seats from 6.30pm and enjoy a drink from the bar. (Unreserved seating)
