They started out as neighbours. A singer-songwriter and a poet separated only by a thin wall, Andrew Bate and Chloe Gorman found each other and their creative worlds collided.
Combining Chloe’s dark and powerful words with Andrew’s unique, melodic musical style and ‘the most beautiful male voice’ producer Paul Reeve (Muse, Razorlight) has ever heard, Saint Senara was born. They made their debut as a duo at Cheltenham Jazz Festival in 2022 and haven’t looked back.
The pair have received widespread critical acclaim for their spellbinding lyrics, genre-defying sound, ‘chainsaw’ Gretsch guitar tone, ethereal harmonies and on-stage chemistry, and have featured in MNPR Magazine, Blues in Britain, SLAP Mag, Echo Rebel Music Magazine, A&R Factory, Obscure Sound and more.
In 2025, they won ‘Rock Song of the Year’ in the inaugural Uncle Paul Awards in Nashville, Tennessee for ‘There’s A Storm Coming’; were finalists for Duo of the Year in the UK Country Music Awards; were named Full Send Zine’s Newcomer of the Year; and their ‘Dark Water EP’ received multiple five-star reviews and earned them a British County Music Association Editor’s Choice Award, Echo Rebel Music Magazine’s Artist of the Month, and was shortlisted for Single/EP/Mini Album of the Year by Fatea Magazine.
