Tommy Barnes is the author of the memoirs ‘A Beer in the Loire’ and ‘Trouble Brewing in the Loire’ both of which document his attempt to start a new life as a beer brewer in French wine country despite not knowing how to brew beer. Tommy is the foremost expert in what not to do when setting up a microbrewery. Tommy's new book, ‘Something Brewing in Cornwall’ documents his disastrous attempts to restart the brewery just outside Padstow.
