Event information

FAB GOUALIN: WIP

"BBC New Comedy Award Nominee 2025, Leicester SQ Theatre New Comedian of the Year 2025 Finalist and So You Think You're Funny 2024 Finalist, Fab Goualin, is bringing a Work in Progress Show to the Poodle Club.

A self-professed storyteller with a sharp eye for the absurd, Fab Goualin blends nationality-based observations with witty anecdotes to offer a fresh take on cultural differences and the strange ways we try to understand one another. Drawing humour from his unusual background, he invites audiences into a world where identity, belonging, and everyday chaos collide.

‘A really great storyteller’ Jen Brister

‘A laid-back and very charismatic presence’ Chortle

‘A Master of the callback’ ★★★★ Broadway Baby

LIANNA HOLSTON: WIP

Lianna is an American (sorry) comedian who co-hosts the iHeartRadio podcast Tossed Popcorn, performed on improv teams at UCB in LA, and can now be spotted around London asking if she can say hi to your dog. Accolades include BBC New Comedy Awards 2025, Funny Women Stage Award 2025 (semi-finalist), Leicester Square Theater New Comedian of the Year 2024 (Runner Up). “A comic you’d definitely want to hear more from” - Chortle
