Strummer Room Records brings another night of adventurous, heart-on-sleeve live music to Banbury, landing at the wonderfully atmospheric Apothecary Tap for an intimate triple-bill packed with melody, grit and international flavour.

🌈 Maisy’s Rainbow Dream
Formed in early 2022 in the Oxford area, this powerful three-piece came together after writing through lockdown and emerged with a sharper, more stripped-back and aggressive edge than their previous projects. Their songs reflect exactly where they are in life right now — honest, emotional and immediate, with no pretence attached.
They’re loving every second of what they do… and judging by the crowds, audiences are right there with them.

🕳 Life Underground
Oxford­shire’s newest indie/rock force might be “new” on paper, but these four musicians bring serious mileage. All over 40 and battle-tested from years in other bands, Life Underground have finally found that bit of magic — combining experience, great chemistry and a huge backlog of killer original material into something special.
Expect confident songwriting, lived-in lyrics and hooks forged from years of persistence.

Travelling in from Slovenia, Shaun Banks brings a European twist to the night — weaving folk-leaning songwriting with indie and Americana textures. Story-driven songs, warm guitar lines and a road-worn charm make this a rare chance to catch an international artist up close in a small-room setting.

A much-loved Banbury venue known for its cosy vibes, excellent beers and welcoming crowd — The Apothecary Tap is the perfect backdrop for an evening of discovery and loud-quiet-loud magic. Come early, grab a pint, settle in, and make a night of it.
