Cathal Hayden
Cathal Hayden needs no introduction to anyone even remotely familiar with traditional Irish music. He achieved worldwide recognition as one of the founder members of “Four Men and a Dog”, and more recently as part of the ‘Mairtin O Connor Trio’, with Seamie O’ Dowd. He is one of Ireland’s top fiddlers and his solo banjo performances are quite simply show stopping.
John Joe Kelly
John Joe Kelly, is one of the most sought-after bodhran players on the folk music scene today. A member of Flook and Mike McGoldrick bands, John Joe is from Manchester and started playing percussion at a very young age. His style is unique with his deep rhythms and funky variations. His playing has become legendary throughout the traditional scene. In recent years he has been involved in many world music collaborative projects.
PJ McDonald
PJ McDonald made his name as a tin whistle player, learning from his late father, Hugh Pat McDonald, and from the many talented musicians around his native village of Donaghmore. He is now as well known for his superb traditional singing and guitar playing. In recent times he has been applying his talent with the renowned Cathal Hayden.
