International award-winning guitarist and composer Jon Pickard presents a rare solo performance on the extraordinary 23-string harp-guitar. Fresh from headlining the 5th International European Harp Guitar Festival in Saujon France, and winning the prestigious ‘Best Guitar Composition’ at the Široki Brijeg Guitarist Festival in Herzegovina. The performance invites audiences into a deeper, more attentive way of listening, echoing an older tradition where music and storytelling were inseparable. Pickard is widely respected on both sides of the Atlantic as one of the foremost harp-guitarists of his generation. In 2025, he was awarded Best Guitar Composition at the Široki Brijeg Guitarist Festival, recognising both his distinctive compositional voice and his mastery of this rare instrument. Critics consistently emphasise the rarity of the experience itself, with Akustik Gitarre Magazine praising his playing as “almost unbelievable, technically and stylistically.”
