The debut concert by Papillon de Nuit, will take place at The National Early Music Centre, St Margaret's Church, in York on Friday the 26th June, 2026. The evening will be divided into two Acts, with an interval.
Act One - A stunning, heart-pounding performance by The Tengu Taiko Drummers.
Act Two - Papillon de Nuit unveil their debut album, playing live for the first time, with cello, piano, guitars, drums and percussion, soprano, orators and vocalist, and with a number of very special guests.
Finale - The Tengu Taiko Drummers and Papillon de Nuit join forces for an extended celebration of one of the album highlights, the widescreen, operatic drama of the song 'Ariadne'.
The concert is seated, and the venue has a fully stocked bar, all-person access, and - like all events by the promoter Gothic Moth - is a safe space and entirely inclusive environment.
The concert will start at 7.30 and finish at 10.
The debut album by Papillon de Nuit will be available to buy on CD and Vinyl, from our merch stall, at the back of the venue.
