Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 27 March we’re delighted to welcome Mike Outram, one of the UK’s finest jazz guitarists. Known for his fluid technique, imaginative harmonic sense and beautifully warm tone, Mike has earned an international reputation as both a performer and composer. His playing moves effortlessly between straight-ahead swing, contemporary jazz and more exploratory textures, always grounded in strong melody and groove.

Over the years he has worked with a wide range of leading artists and ensembles across the UK and Europe, appearing at major festivals and concert halls as both a bandleader and collaborator. Whether in an intimate club setting or on a larger stage, Mike brings subtlety, energy and a deep musical conversation to every performance.

He’ll be joined by a superb rhythm section featuring Eric Ford on drums, Andy Cleyndert on bass and Soner Ersen on piano. Together they promise an evening of inspired improvisation, dynamic interplay and beautifully shaped arrangements — perfect for dedicated jazz lovers and anyone looking for a great night of live music.
