The Greenwich Amnesty International present a Charity Concert featuring Multi Award winning composer David Schweitzer ( with friends & family) plus The Linda Moylan Band and the South London Samba Band

David Schweitzer is an Emmy-winning Composer, born in London, UK. He is known for his scores for documentary (World War II: From The Frontlines, 9/11: One Day in America, Our Great National Parks, Elizabeth: The Unseen Queen, Four Hours at the Capitol, Wonders of Life), and animation (over 1,000 episodes including work on Charlie & Lola, Angry Birds Toons, The Cat in the Hat and many more), and for his work on dramas such as Emma, The Afterparty (Season 2), Sanditon, Vanity Fair, Victoria, The White Princess and The Crown.

Linda Moylan is an Irish born, London raised folk singer-songwriter with a voice that can spiral from earthy to angelic in an instant and delivers the moving and relatable narratives of her songs with an enchanting Irish troubadour twist.

Linda’s second album ‘The Merchant’ (Talking Elephant Records, 2021) was produced by English folk royalty in the form of Phil Beer (Show Of Hands / Albion Band etc) and she also collaborated with the great Julie Felix on her final release ‘Freedom Is A Woman’.

South London Samba, are a collective of young people who love to drum, playing energetic music inspired by Latin, Caribbean and African rhythms, blended together with our South London vibe.

They've performed with the Black Eyed Peas (UEFA Champions League Final 2017), Cricket World Cup Opening Ceremony 2019, Eastenders BBC Children In Need, Crystal Palace FC, Lovebox Festival, Love Supreme, O2 Arena, Virgo Festival and Notting Hill Carnival (to name a few). We're currently rehearsing and running classes at Midi Music Company in Deptford, and The Green in Nunhead.
