Event information

Nono Nadolo is a South African–born Gospel singer who brings a rich breadth of experience to her work. From the National Concert Hall to international stages, she weaves musical skill with heartfelt expression and spirituality, exploring how singing can move beyond melody into a powerful way to connect, express, and share meaning.

In this immersive vocal workshop, participants are invited to go beyond the notes and discover their own authentic “voice of the heart.” Drawing on her experience with the Soweto Gospel Choir and working with songwriters such as Brendan Graham, Nono guides the group through a diverse selection of songs — from contemporary Gospel and South African rhythms to much-loved Irish hymns. In a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, she uses accessible vocal guidance to help singers explore their natural voice and experience singing not as performance, but as a shared space of connection and depth.

Whether you sing in a choir, enjoy singing on your own, or are just beginning to find your voice, this workshop offers a joyful opportunity to learn, share, and sing from the heart.

With a career spanning decades, Nono’s musical journey began in her youth and blossomed with the Discovery Gospel Choir, where her warm, soulful, and powerful voice quickly stood out. This path has led her to some of Ireland’s most prestigious stages — from leading anthems at Aviva Stadium for the Ireland–South Africa rugby match, to performing for Queen Elizabeth II at the Convention Centre Dublin.

A versatile and much-respected collaborator, Nono has shared the stage with artists such as The Blind Boys of Alabama, Annie Lennox, and Brian Kennedy. Her work has also reached wide audiences through television appearances on The Late Late Show and as a finalist on TG4’s Réalta agus Gaolta. Beyond the accolades, Nono’s work remains deeply rooted in spirituality and meaning.
