It's our April comedy night at The Meadows and it's a DOUBLE HEADLINE affair.
MARKUS BIRDMAN ....From The Palladium to Pakistan, a highly experienced, versatile & award winning comedian, Markus is one of stand-up’s most well travelled comedians, much in demand in the UK and all over the world, and one of the very first British Comics to have his own Netflix Special - Live in Amsterdam.
He has toured Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Pakistan, Scandinavia and throughout Europe, The Middle East and Far East. He has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows both in the UK and abroad. Chortle best club comic nominee2023. "Grab a ticket, he's brilliant!" Sarah Millican.
ALISTAIR BARRIE.
Alistair Barrie is one of the most sought after headliners on the international comedy circuit. His biting topical comedy has seen him perform all over the world including acclaimed performances at the Cape Town, Melbourne, New Zealand and Edinburgh Festivals, where he has twice been nominated for best show. He is a regular at Glastonbury, on the BBC, Times Radio and a wide range of podcasts.
Alistair is the only comedian to have played both the Labour and Conservative Party conferences. He has also written for household names such as Frankie Boyle, Jason Manford and Jack Whitehall.
