James is an award-winning guitarist and composer based in London. Since graduating from Birmingham Conservatoire, he has worked on projects across Europe and South Korea. His music takes a strong influence from the works of John Coltrane, Thelonius Monk and Peter Evans. This new group features longstanding companions Nick Manz and Ben Love with the addition of Ethan Sweeting. Together they will explore repertoire from the Great America Songbook, original music and compositions from their favourite composers. Expect to hear an exciting collection of music which lends itself to spontaneous improvisations and interplay within the band.
