Event information

New Song (Quintet) + Jon Green
Live at The Corner Room, Edinburgh

New Song is the latest project from composer and drummer Chun-Wei Kang. The music brings together a range of influences, shaped by a personal and reflective approach to writing. Led from the drums, the quintet’s sound is open, expressive, and driven by a strong sense of interplay.

Jon Green is a composer and multi-instrumentalist who writes and performs across a wide variety of musical settings. He is the director of Worship Arts at Hope City Church. For Corner Room he has put together a band of Scotland's finest musicians for a collection of new songs and stories from his old home (USA), wife's home (Palestine), and current home (Scotland).
