Event information
Barefaced Violas will play new works by NMB members at St Luke’s, Queen’s Park at 7:30pm. The programme will consist of:
Martyn C Adams: Wondering past considerations
John Petley: Minuet & Trio from String Quartet No. 2
Brian Mitchell: Trotting to Larne
Simon Hopkins: Every Bar is Torture
Ric Graebner: Apricity
Patrick Harrex: Light and Sharpness
Terence Allbright: Shuffle
Bach: Chaconne
York Bowen: Fantasy
Barefaced Violas are Ros Hanson, Anna Cooper, Ellie Blackshaw and Matt Quenby (a special guest for this performance).
They are performers, teachers, working musicians who came together in 2022 having worked together individually in various situations. They share a passion for all things ‘viola’.
This concert is a collaboration with Music and Wine at St Luke's
