🌼 A true Woodstock legend comes to Witney! 🎸

On Saturday 8th August, Studio Se7en welcomes Barry "The Fish" Melton, founder member, lead guitarist and vocalist of the legendary Country Joe & The Fish, for his Farewell UK Tour.

This year marks 60 years since the release of the band's groundbreaking debut album, Electric Music for the Mind & Body, widely regarded as one of the greatest psychedelic rock albums ever recorded and still inspiring generations of musicians today.

It's also 58 years since Country Joe & The Fish took to the stage at the legendary Woodstock Festival in 1969, performing to an audience of almost half a million people. Their unforgettable appearance in the Academy Award-winning Woodstock film cemented their place in rock history.

Joining Barry will be his outstanding UK backing band, The Psych Unit, while the evening opens with Under The Stars – one of the UK's premier Jerry Garcia tribute bands. Featuring members of Barry's Paris-based band Jamasutra, alongside veterans of the UK Grateful Dead scene, this promises to be a very special celebration of the music and spirit of the San Francisco psychedelic era.

This isn't just another gig—it's a chance to experience a genuine piece of rock history, right here in Witney.
